I was really interested in finding a glider for our nursery that was upholstered, not enormous and not outlandishly expensive. This fits that bill. The fabric is a decent chenille that needs to be broken in a bit but is very pretty and relatively soft (it does need to be broken in just a bit I think). The size of the chair (with the ottoman) is perfect for our moderate sized space and we couldn't be happier. I was a little concerned when the glider arrived because it feels like it has more of a rocking motion than the gliding motion I was looking for. However, once the matching ottoman arrive the two work together to deliver a nice, comfortable gliding motion that we hope will put our baby to sleep and not make me motion sick! The color is pretty light and works well with the rest of the white furniture in our space. We're very pleased with this purchase.
