JJ Cole Storage Box

These boxes are cute, but quite small. I bought several to get organized with the New Year. The colors are attractive enough, but when they arrived I couldn't believe how small they were! Understand that the inside of the organizers and the laundry hamper is made of cloth, so anything you spill in them (or clothing odors) will stay. I don't honestly know how long the hamper will last because one wet towel in it and the cloth interior could mold. I would much MUCH higher recommend the system by Scout! Now those are awesome and very nice, I will be returning to Scout products from here on.

Harmony Kids Deluxe Recliner

I got this chair for my sons second birthday and we all loved it. It works great and my son literally uses it everyday and even took a nap on it! My only problem (minor) is that it doesn't have a handle to recline (you have to push the head back to make it recline). My son keeps looking for the handle and asks for it because he sees that we have one on our own recliners.

Simmons Kids Pampering Sleep Supreme 234 Coil Baby Crib and Toddler Mattress

We have done 2 searches for mattress's. First for our daughter- 18 months ago- and now for our baby #2 that is on his/her way. We bought a different Simmons crib mattress the first time and loved it. This time around I came across this mattress which has more coils and the ability to flip it for infant/toddler use. Currently our 18 Month old is using the new mattress- on the toddler side- but once her sibling comes along we will be using in the crib on the firmer infant side! I love this purchase. It's well made, perfect for infants and toddlers and is a great price. It also has a 35 year warrenty - which is hard to find on crib mattress's! Def think you should buy it!

Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Bassinet Original Plush, Natural

These sheets are a bit on the pricey side for something so small, but our little guy sure does love it. It's soft and warm and QUIET, which is important when you've got an infant sleeping in your bedroom and you haven't cut his fingernails in a few days. See, the co-sleeper mattress is fairly hard and when it's got a regular sheet on it (which is thin cotton), you can hear every single time Baby scratches his fingernails across the mattress. Over. And over.

KidKraft Nantucket Toddler Table

This is a great little table! It was easy enough for me to put together myself in 20 minutes (even with my toddler's "help") and it looks great. It appears very well made and is a good size (not perfect) to go beside my toddler's bed. My two-year old is excited to have his own little bedside table that has a nice little drawer and gives him a place for bedtime snack and books.

Harmony Kids Round Back Glider

I was really interested in finding a glider for our nursery that was upholstered, not enormous and not outlandishly expensive. This fits that bill. The fabric is a decent chenille that needs to be broken in a bit but is very pretty and relatively soft (it does need to be broken in just a bit I think). The size of the chair (with the ottoman) is perfect for our moderate sized space and we couldn't be happier. I was a little concerned when the glider arrived because it feels like it has more of a rocking motion than the gliding motion I was looking for. However, once the matching ottoman arrive the two work together to deliver a nice, comfortable gliding motion that we hope will put our baby to sleep and not make me motion sick! The color is pretty light and works well with the rest of the white furniture in our space. We're very pleased with this purchase. Note: free shipping with amazon prime / amazon mom really helped us out on the price point here!

Naturepedic Organic Cotton Cradle Mattress

We have Naturepedic mattresses for our cradle and for our crib. They are the only mattress line that healthychild.org recommends and Naturepedic has wonderful products. The toxicity of mattresses today are appalling. Conventional mattresses have toxic flame retardants, antimony, arsenic and formaldehyde. Naturepedic is a godsend and their customer service is excellent. We have ordered custom sized waterproof pads and organic sheets through them and they were sent super fast. They even make them a little bigger to allow for shrinkage during washing and drying. I am glad that we have purchased this cradle pad for our daughter because it is a healthier option for our little miracle.

Sealy Baby Ultra Rest Mattress

When my husband and I started looking for crib mattresses while I was pregnant with our twins we had NO idea what to look for. Thankfully, like always I started doing searches on Amazon to read reviews and that is where I learned about not having a mattress that was too soft. After much searching & reading we picked out 3 we liked best, one cheaper than this, one considerably more expensive & this one. The cheaper mattress was TOO soft & did not have many springs. My husband thought it seemed like a fine mattress to buy UNTIL I was easily able to take my hand and squeeze the sides of the mattress together, top touching bottom. Then I explained to him that once a baby is old enough to stand their weight would crush the mattress just like I did and that is unsafe. Plus babies are supposed to sleep on a firm surface, not soft. After my demonstration my husband understood. Next we did the same test with this mattress. You could not easily squeeze the sides of the mattress together, even my husband tried. It had a lot more springs than the cheaper one, it was firm but also comfortable. We also liked that it is basically water proof. And the plastic does not make any noise, nor is it loose at all. We stopped our search there and purchased 2 of these. My girls are almost 1 year and their beds show no signs of wear, no indentations, nothing wrong at all. My girls even hold onto the sides of their crib and jump and the mattress does not sink at all even when they jump at the very edge. My girls sleep all night in these so they must be comfortable. I don't think you need to spend an arm and a leg in order to get a safe & comfortable mattress. Don't get one so cheap that it is flimsy, doesn't have many springs, that you can easily squeeze the sides together or that the plastic covering is loose. This one is perfect. It also fits perfectly snug in my girls cribs and every sheet we've used fits perfectly.

Stork Craft Carrara 4-in-1 Fixed Side Convertible Crib

We got this for our little girl and it came very quickly. The crib it self is very easy to put together. It only took my husband about 30 minutes and my husband is not one who likes to read long complicated instructions. Over all it looks great and very sturdy after being put together. I love that the instructions is glued to the mattress support so we don't have to keep it somewhere and loose it later. The crib does have a new paint smell but it really isn't that bad. The reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is that the company does not make full size bed rails for their convertible cribs. I knew this before buying this bed. On their company website it says we can get the bed rails from other mattress bedding companies. So I am assuming that it means in the future I will be able to find full size bed rails that will work with this model. I have emailed the company and asked if there's a specific brand that they recommend or know that it will work for sure with their cribs and I am still waiting for their reply. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The value is great and the crib certainly looks great!

Lambs & Ivy Basket White

This is a very nice basket at a great size. We use it on our changing table to hold various baby supplies (burp and spit-up cloths, reusable cloth baby wipes, homemade baby wipe solution, lotion, etc.). It fits great on our changing table (the Delta Canton) which has space for both a contoured changing pad and this basket to hold supplies. I also picked up a cute Lambs & Ivy liner to go with it, which was sort of an extra purchase, but really added a nice touch and is super cute. I really like that we have a way to contain all of our baby supplies without worrying about them being kicked off of the changing table, and it looks adoarble to boot.

DaVinci Full/Twin Size Conversion Rail Kit

If you use a box spring with the full size mattress you do not need to worry about having any support or adding any additional support for the bed which is what I read as an issue in other reviews. I did not give it 5 stars because the bolts that came with the conversion crib rails were actually the wrong size and it actually took my husband a little extra time to realize that the some of the bolts used in the crib assembly (thankfully we save these) were able to work. I don't know if this is how it is supposed to be or if ours was a fluke. The instructions are very very vague. Otherwise I am very happy with how our crib/toddler bed converted to a full. YOu really can't tell that it was once her crib!

Colgate Eco Classica III Dual Firmness Eco-Friendlier Crib Mattress, Ecru

I spent months looking for a crib mattress and read hundreds of reviews for different products! My daughter was 8 months old before we purchased a crib for her, so I had lots of time to look around! Here is what I like about this mattress: *Very lightweight - makes sheet changes quick and easy. I just pull it up and set it on the sides of the crib to changes the sheets. *No smell - There is no odor to this mattress, which is great since my baby's face spends a lot of time cheek-to-cheek with this! *Dual sided - I really like this feature. The infant side is VERY firm, and the toddler side is still firm, but comfortable. My baby was used to sleeping in a Graco Pack'n'Play, but she sleeps very soundly on this mattress. *Organic - This mattress is organic and environmentally friendly. That was very important to me in making this purchase. *Fit - this fit my DaVinci Kalani crib perfectly.

Starting Small Frog Novelty Hamper - Green

This hamper was adorable, so I couldn't resist getting it for my son, when he was about 1. Now he is almost two, and the only thing this hamper still is is adorable. The fabric ripped in a few places making it so the support poles slip out CONSTANTLY and that gets very aggravating when you're trying to carry laundry down two flights of stairs. This has been used very gently, only for my toddler's clothes and nothing more, and it just has not held up at all. Overall, I'm completely disappointed in this product. If it's something you're only planning on using for a few months, it should be fine. But anything more than that and it's going to start falling apart on you.

Stork Craft Beatrice 4 Drawer Chest

This dresser is exactly what one would get if not wanting to spend a lot of money. It's extremely affordable, easy to put together, nice finish, and does the job. It's not top of the line where you would spend $500. plus. You get what you pay for. I am exteremly pleased with this product. It matches the other pieces in the room very will. Shipping was very fast and when it arrived packaging was great. I constructed it in less than an hour. There are no "tools" that come with this dresser. It is called "hardware" I put it together with one screwdriver. Everyone who gave this dresser one star is an idiot! They seem to want five star product at a one star price. Complaining on how to put it together, what its's made of and so on, Blah, Blah, Blah. This is not rocket science people. Stop bitching about crap and get a clue! You want top quality? spend top money! As for me, I would buy this again and yes it's worth what I paid for it. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Badger Basket Moses Basket Gingham with Hood and Bedding, Espresso/Blue

This moses bassinet is absolutely adorable! The bedding is just as adorable and seems to be sturdy. obviously it is not meant to TOTE baby around in, but to have something extra to take with you at a friends, event etc.. so baby can sleep.. this is great without the bulkiness of a stroller. I was worried it would be pretty small and seem more like a toy than something you would you for your baby, but that is not the case, it is definitely roomy and well made. The hood attaches by velcro so its nota pain in the neck to come off or put back on. That being said, when it is on..it does stay on.

DaVinci Kalani 4 Drawer Baby Dresser

My husband and I ordered this dresser in Espresso. It is a decent quality dresser. One part came broken in the box during shipment and the manufacturer sent us a new part for free. Otherwise we are very pleased with the dresser. It is not of the highest quality in terms of the hardness of the wood, but if you want something more high quality, you should expect to visit a furniture store.

Sassy Soft Sided Toy Organizer, Pink Mod

I purchased this for my 1 year old daughter. I love this toy box. It is safe for her and easy for her to open. It has a lot of room and it is great to have in the living room area where we have some of her toys. My husband and I are so pleased with it that we are buying a second one for her room. We highly recommend purchasing this product.

Nap Nanny Chill (Minky Sage)

My 3 week old son is sleeping in this item as I type my review. Saw this item on at Babies R Us when I was around 7 months pregnant and thought it was a great idea. I have an older child who spent most of her time sleeping in her car seat because she was always plagued by ear infections and colds. My middle child also spent a few nights in her car seat or with her matteress proped up on blankets during cold and flu season. While my son has neither of these problems (so far) I think it decives him into thinking we are still holding him because of the position it holds him in. He sleeps so well that we leave it next to our bed a night for the time being. My son has not spit up once since we started using this item and I feel comforatble with him in a slightly elevated position. I also like how soft this item is and that it is washable. It also comes in a plastic case that we used to pack it when we traveled to the inlaws for a night.

Gocrib Portable Baby Travel Crib and Play Yard

We purchased this after being disappointed in the Baby Bjorn travel crib, the Phil & Ted's traveller, and the Kidco Peapod. The Baby Bjorn is huge and must be checked(so it ends up costing more after just a few trips), the P&T's was made of noisy material that woke the baby, and the Peapod looks like a collapsible dog kennel. The GoCrib is fantastic!! Easy to set up, easy to take down. The baby sleeps beautifully in it!! Lightweight, but sturdy. You can move it all over easily when set up. What we love most? You can carry it on the airplane with you, no paying extra to check a crib, no worrying the airline will lose it because it's checked. It's compact and lightweight so it fits right in the overhead bin. If you are looking for an awesome travel crib solution this is what you want.

Sassy Soft Sided Toy Organizer

I originally registered for a step 2 toy box that is a hard plastic. I have two of them already in the basement for my other childrens toys. I changed my mind when I saw this one. I have to say I really like it. It's great and there is no smell to it at all. I love the look of it and the fact that it's soft is a big plus for when he is a bit older and either crawling or walking. I wont' have to worry about him pinching himself or the lid falling down on him. I definetly love the detailing and the little drop down side that looks like a playmat. The extra little bag that comes inside for transporting or additonal storage is great as well. It's a great value and looks really nice in the nursery.

OXO Tot Expandable 2 Pack Dresser Drawer Divider, White

Love these oxo drawer dividers. They are sturdy and of great quality. I own a few brands of drawer dividers, none are as good as these. I have progressive, etc etc. They are somewhat wobbly. Only complain is that they can be cheaper. The 4 inches tall ones are also limited in their length, say max of 16 inch, hence I have to buy the 5 inch kitchen ones for my closet drawers.

phil&teds Traveller Crib

The Phil & Teds travel crib is a great portable crib for air travel as it folds up very small, is super lightweight, and fits into almost any suitcase or duffle - you could probably fit two cribs in a suitcase without any problems in terms of size or weight. However, it does take about 15 minutes to set up, and an equally long time to disassemble and fit into the small bag it comes in. So plan ahead, practice at home, have your child sleep in it a night or two so they get used to it if possible, and bring along the manual, just in case. Set it up as soon as you get to your destination - you don't want to do this later on with a tired crying child. The self-inflating mattress on the P&T is long and narrow, similar to those used for camping. We put the mattress inside and used regular Gerber Printed Crib Sheet- Blue on it with elastic all around, tucking them well underneath (the newest model has a vinyl sleeve to put the mattress into). My oldest child slept well in it on long trips up till age he was three; it still looks new after occasional use during the last two years, with a material that is easy to clean. Although harder to set up and dismantle, I found the Phil & Ted to be great quality, super compact and much less expensive than the Baby Bjorn travel crib. It's also likely that I'll be using it longer than the BB, as it's more compact and can be used outdoors as well.

Badger Basket Barrel Top Toy Box

When my husband and I were registering for our baby last year, I knew that I wanted a toybox, though I really wasn't crazy about the plastic toyboxes that seemed to be everywhere. There was only one of these wooden toyboxes in the store, and I immediately fell in love with it. True, some of the plastic toyboxes may be a little bigger (and cheaper), but the wooden toybox matched the decor of the baby's room, plus it's very classy, not at all gaudy like some baby items can be. It's been nine months now, and I still love it. The design is very attractive, and even better, it fits a lot of toys. The toybox has a hinge so the lid won't slam down on tiny fingers. If you look at the picture of the box, you can see there are openings between the lid and the bottom half of the box so if there *were* fingers still on the box if it were closed, fingers wouldn't get stuck (this doesn't apply to the two corners however). Some things that may cause you to reconsider: the box does have sharper corners than a plastic box may have, it is made out of wood after all (the only thing I didn't consider beforehand). However, the finish is smooth. I've been very happy with this toybox. Hopefully my nine month old will think the same thing once he's older.

Stork Craft Beatrice Combo Tower Chest

First of all, despite some of the other reviews I read I had no problems with shipping. The item was immediately delivered after I ordered it. The box and the condition of the pieces inside were flawless. We put this together in a couple of hours and I love it!!! The drawers are long and deep and hold a lot of the baby's things. I also love the side cabinet with the shelves. It is perfect for holding baskets and other items. It is very sturdy and good quality. This will be a piece of furniture my daughter will have for years to come. Especially once she is old enough and we are done using it as a changing table, we can purchase the hutch for additional storage.

Redmon Brown Dog Bongo Buddy

We have this in my sons room and use it for his dirty laundry. It's really cute and holds quite a bit of dirty clothes! It has handles on the side which make it really easy to move around. We've had it maybe a year or so, but it looks brand new, no wear at all, and I have two boys that are constantly jumping on it. Really livens up my sons decor! He even helps me get the clothes out of it. It will collapse under pressure, but it's perfect for clothes. It would probably also work well for stuffed animals too.

Cradle Mattress - Size 18 X 36

I've been having trouble finding a replacement mattress for a cradle my mom gave me. Thought I might have hit the jackpot with this one but no such luck. Came in a HUGE box 2x larger than the item with no packaging, just the bare mattress. One side of the mattress was ripped and had little puncture marks next to the rip. I try not to order from 3rd party sellers but since this was fulfilled by amazon I took a chance knowing I could easily return it if it was damaged. Good thing since it's going back asap. Even if it wasn't damaged it still looked cheap. Not sure if I would have used it anyway.

Fisher-Price Zen Collection Gliding Bassinet

Positives: 1) Nice looking overall; fabric is not cheap, well put together (see cons as well) 2) Gliding motion works ok and the music is quite nice (see cons as well) 3) A sturdy product, you don't worry about it falling apart with baby in it 4) An ok price for a FULL size, BIG bassinet, especially with free shipping. If it goes on sale for cheaper after you purchase it contact customer service for a price adjustment...Amazon is notorious for doing this! (see cons as well) 5) Large size is great for larger babies (like mine) who tend to outgrow smaller, more portable size bassinets quickly. Negatives: 1) (As another commenter mentioned) The sounds play only for a pre-set time, then you have to hit the button again, a remote would have been a good idea. 2) The gliding motion while it does glide, is a bit noisy and a little less than smooth for my comfort level. 3) The colors overall are misrepresented in the picture. The legs appear black and some of the fabric appear a yellowish color. In actuality the fabric is a lime-ish green and all metal is brown and wood almost a cherry/ brown. 4) This is a very big and heavy bassinet. Measure your space before buying and compare to the measurements listed. It is not one you will want to bring up and downstairs but rather leave in one place. 5) While it has wheels to roll it around on one side of the legs, they don't work very well and the legs scratched my laminate floor. 6) The mattress was my breaking point...it is stiff, thin and hard. The included sheet is scratchy even after washing. I would most likely have purchased one of those foam inserts that help with flat head syndrome as I don't feel this mattress is at all adequate. Anyone who says the mattress is good, comfortable or adequate...OY!? A serious oversight by Fisher-Price! 7) The fabrics do not come off easily in any respects. You will spend a lot of time unscrewing fabrics from the frame if you get anything on them and aren't happy with just wiping the stains with a cloth (think spit up, poop explosions, pet hair, dustiness etc.) Overall ok, but just like in the past with other Fisher-Price products (and as I said, this is my fourth baby and have been through MANY a product change), I am certain they will fix these issues and come up with an overall better product.
